Margin

Every order line keeps the cost price it consumed at the moment of sale. That snapshot never changes, so an old order keeps showing the margin you really made, even after your buying price moves.

You see margin per product, per order, per category and per supplier under Analytics, Sales.

The margin scheme

Cards bought from a private person fall under the margin scheme: you pay VAT on your margin, not on the full price. Mark the supplier as a private person and Ripbase handles the invoice and the VAT for those lines.

Stock value

Stock, Valuation shows what you are holding, at cost. It also flags what is running out, what to reorder soon, and what has not sold in a long time.
