The OBS overlay

The overlay is a web page that shows who is up now, how many people are waiting and who is next. It updates by itself the moment the queue changes.

Adding it to OBS

1. On the Live page, press Copy overlay link.
2. In OBS: Sources, +, Browser.
3. Paste the link. Set the width and height to your canvas size, usually 1920 by 1080.
4. Position it where you want it. The background is transparent, so only the panel shows.

Streamlabs and most other software have the same browser source; the steps are the same.

Safe on stream

The overlay never shows addresses, e-mail addresses or totals. It shows the name the buyer chose to be called by, and what they bought.

If it stops updating

Right-click the source and choose Refresh. If you ever suspect the link has been shared, press New link on the Live page: the old one dies immediately and you paste the new one into OBS.
